Who am I?

It’s pretty simple really, I am just another 20 something trying to decide whether I am a kid or a grown up. I am equal parts jaded and optimistic, I believe in miracles and happy endings even though it hardly ever seems that way. Things do work out in the end, sometimes it just sucks getting there. I also happen to be all over the place in my interests so describing me by what I do is not an easy task. Anyway, here is the best breakdown I can think of: I am in no particular order a gym rat, TV junkie, consultant, big brother, Florida Gator, book worm, live music junkie, movie fan, coffee freak, Zionist, Jew.

What’s up with this blog?

This is either my second or third blog depending on whether or not you count my failed attempt at having a Florida sports blog. I suppose it would have been simple to just import all of my old blog over here to wordpress like others have done. However, I left my last blog after over a year for a good reason and felt like getting a completely fresh start, so here I am. The title of the blog and the url come from the song Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. The reason I chose that line is simple, I am so much more than what I put out here, people who read my previous blog often grew concerned over my rants so “this is not how I am” seemed very appropriate. And “I can’t explain, you wouldn’t understand” just felt right to go along with it. I really can not explain who I am and I am not interested in making people understand, there will always be a disconnect from one person to another and especially online where so much is lost in translation. Anyway, don’t take me too seriously, if you enjoy what I have to say great, if not I guess I will just have to try harder.
